He will also be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many MANY MANY more cousins!

Loving nephew of Bill (Bonnie) Lozon, Elaine (late Bill) Kilbride, Jeannette Poissant, Late Ron (Kay) Lozon, Linda Aarssen (Mike), Jeff (Jennifer) Lozon.

Learning from his Dad to operate heavy machinery at a very young age, Chris ran with it and made a career out of it very quickly.  Learning from many of the best operators around and adding his own skills to the mix, he perfected his craft and loved every moment of it.

He was the owner and operator of Chris Turner Bulldozing, and a standing member of IOUE Local 793.  When Chris began working for Aecon Group Inc., he began to travel all over the country for work.  Out West, the Bay of Fundy, Toronto and everywhere in between. I love that I can look around my county in Essex and know that my Dad dug every hole that is holding each one of those windmills.  If he was here as we drove by them, he would proudly tell you that too.  Showing that he left something tangible behind. A piece of his work that is bettering this world will stay here in his honour.

Chris loved entertaining people and making others happy. He often did so at home when he was young playing guitar and singing with his siblings. He carried this with him throughout his life and everyone has always loved it. It also made him very happy.

In the early 80’s Chris played drums and was a singer in a local band called “Sherwood”. On weekends he would travel with the band to different towns to perform.  They could also be found performing in Wallaceburg.

In later years, he played bass and was singing in the band “The Past Times”.  They would play in various places in Wallaceburg as well as on a float each year for WAMBO. They were very regular in Sarnia at Hyawatha Raceway for quite a while too.

When they would play aboard “The Duc d’Orleans” River Boat cruise, it was always a fun time for everyone.

Chris was a genuinely, humble, gentle and kind man, with a passion for family, hard work and music. He was a happy guy with a beautiful smile and just wanted everyone else to be happy and positive all the time too. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed, fondly remembered, forever loved and never forgotten.
